Pjesnička zbirka Stele Vicotra Segalena - jedno od klasičnih djela francuskog modernizma - prvi put u integralnom obliku u hrvatskom prijevodu, s novim kaligrafijama i prijevodom kineskih epigrama. Preveli Stephane Michel, Senka Sedmak i Sanja Lovrenčić Po obrazovanju liječnik, veliki putnik Victor Segalen učio je kineski u Francuskoj prije nego što se otputio u zemlju koja će se za njega pokazati izvanredno inspirativnom. Lutajući Kinom između 1908. i 1912., zadivljen njenim kamenim spomenicima - stelama, stvara nov oblik pjesme u prozi, "stelu-pjesmu". U svom najvažnijem djelu, zbirci Stele, poput kakvog cara koji pokušava odrediti svoje carstvo, istražuje teme moći i vlasti ("stele prema jugu"), prijateljstva ("stele prema sjeveru"), ljubavi ("stele prema istoku"), žrtve, odanosti, rata ("stele prema zapadu"); u "stelama uz rub puta" govori o iskustvu putnika, dok su "stele sredine" posvećene istraživanju unutarnjih prostora. Crpeći inspiraciju iz djela klasičnog kineskog kanona, Segalen svakoj svojoj pjesmi dodaje kaligrafirani kineski epigram, stvarajući tako jedinstveno dvojezično djelo, na razmeđi dviju udaljenih kultura.
